That may be, but when I did Chem I remember distinctly that it was numbersey.

- No essay writing
- Lots of different formulas to work out shit (Mol, F.E)
- Lots of maths to do with the joining of chemicals.

The same thing goes for Physics and its forces.

Chemistry last year had an extended response question (expected 4+ pages of writing) on the history of shipbuilding. Explain that one away, bitch.

In last year's Chem HSC exam I had to do a 20 mark question for Industrial asking me to write a good page revolving around a map and resources.

In my Trial Chem test (which is conveniently also my Yearly), I was asked to write about one person who is currently working in chemical process plants, as well as describe his/her role.

About half of all the questions I got in internal tests,Trials,HSC had "explain" at the end, and "explain" usually requires you to write some English.

Don't get me started on Physics. Anyone here NOT familiar with the "explain Faraday's Law of Induction", or "explain Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity" questions?

I rest my case.
