Guys strange case here, I have done extension 2 maths in hsc and did quite well (84), but im having significant problems understanding the material in MATH1001. Should I do MATH1013 rather than 1003 next semester?

Can you provide some more information about your situation? Are you attending the lectures, doing the tutorial questions and studying the course notes?

I don't think '84' is 'quite well' .. That is actually high 50s as raw mark for hsc 2012 ... Just saying
Fuck off.

Yes to all.

I did worse than you in MX2 and mate, all the work so far is pretty much 4U.
I understand the stuff on complex numbers, but I barely understand sets. I've done some work ahead (or at least tried to) on functions and graphs in 3D and partial derivatives and this is where im struggling.
As for MATH1002, I barely understand the material in that too.

Do you have the lecture notes for MATH1001?

Gets 84 in 4u maths and claims to have "done well" but can't handle math1001. what a joke.

I have a friend thats failing the same subject cause shes infatuated with the lecturer :3

On a serious note, you should read the differential calculus blue booklet that you shouldve got from the kopystop before lectures and tuts

In my opinion, MATH1003 is much easier than MATH1001
