What units are people looking at enroling in?

I am done with my cores so I am looking at:
Semester 1
*LAW511 - Advanced Research Project
*LAW429 - Information Technology Law
*LAW416 - European Union Law

Semester 2
*LAW421 - Foundations of Commercial Law
*LAW522 - Advanced Torts
*LAW530 - Human Rights and Moral Dilemmas

Anyone done any of these and have an idea on what they are like?

Good thread, I was about to start one. These are mine:

First semester: hrm107, accg200, psy247 and psy234

Second semester: psy235, psy245, psy248 and bba216

Does that sound alright especially with the psych units?

Foundations of Commercial Law....brings back memories!

Its basically the leftovers from property, contract law, trade practices act, equity fused together into a big unit!

I see that you are aiming for class one honours......before embarking on a stressful research topic, how close are your grades to the 76 WAM req?

melsc,

if you don't mind me asking, what are your plans after you finish your degree next year?

Do you have anything planned, like a law program or something that you're gonna go to?

I think I am at like 73 or something? I am going to do it regardless coz I am so over the units offered. I am doing commercial as I figure it will be useful

Hopefully a grad position but I'll see what I get, otherwise I'll do my PLT I think

Does anyone know how you go about getting more credit avaliable in your estudent? I don't have enough there to enrol in what I need to complete my degree. Do I need to go into SES?

This semester I'm going to do ACST400, FIN310, ECON350 and COMP115.

Next semester I think I'm going to do ACST401, ACCG352, ACCG353 and an elective which at this point in time remains oblivious to me.

I had to do that too. All you have to do is email estudent and ask them to either add more credit points to your program or study, or enrol you in the specific unit you want. You may have to provide both (it depends on what operator you get and the way they like to do it).

Regarding your units, I did EU (awesome, quite insightful, and great that it's only tutorials, Roy really knows his stuff), IT (if it's still being run by the same lady from 2007, I hope she's picked up her game. Worst unit teaching-wise, but the content was quite interesting), and Advanced Torts (Penelope is just so fantastic. Try and do the presentation instead of the exam - much easier to get high marks because hardly anyone does the presentation, and a great relief to have it all done by week 8 or so).

:)

Yeah, I'd love to do the presentation...sounds like a better idea provided its still run that way. I wish EU was still done in tute/tute format but its lecture tute now with 1 hr tutes, its going to suck for some many units

Thanks for the insight MJ its hard to know anything about the units you're taking
