depends what ur studying, i personally exclusively use pen and paper because for me notes are just to remember stuff during the lecture anyway and it’s best for memory retention, depends what ur studying though. definitely still need a decent laptop for uni though a lot of stuff is done online these days
yup same, especially when im sitting in a lecture i always use pen and paper (i don't have an ipad tho) because it helps consolidate what's being talked about. most of my subjects have less to memorise compared to something like bio, anatomy, etc though, and all of the notes are online, and i additionally retype my notes. so if you're relying on the notes you take in the lecture maybe an ipad is better for making everything neat the first time around

Does anyone know if you can submit timetable preferences before your classes have been approved? I've got some advanced classes that need permission and was wondering if i can do my timetable once i've applied but before they have been approved/finalised

Also did anyone else get a random mark for a subject you didn't do? A bit after my results cam through (for my actual subjects) i got another email with a mark for a random subject. Sounds like its happened to others as well from reddit. bit confusing lol

I might go to USYD and do Physics or Engineering (mechanical). I have heard that UNSW and USYD are mostly identical.
