A literary slut.

Currently reading:

No Logo - Naomi Klein
The Unconscious Civilization - John Raulston Saul
What We Leave Behind - forgotten
Porno - Irvine Welsh
Hitler - Ian Kershaw

And i just finished Fight Club.

Thank god the holidays are next week.
Been really wanting to read that..but cannot find it anywhere. Haven't really bothered trying though...

Pretty much, all I have really been reading is this (as stated earlier) and F1 Racing magazines, and The Godfather

on a bit on a biography junket at the minute, these are what i borrowed last time i was at the library (and have finished all but the last)
- Murdoch by Shorcross (basically business only, interesting)
- Quarterly Essay on Turnbull
- The Other Mrs Kennedy (about bobby's wife ethel) very interesting to read about this snobby self absorbed bitch who almost became the first lady of the us and what she got up to when she was young

And of course the latest Star Wars Fate Of the Jedi book came out recently so I finished that within 24 hours (Abyss by Troy Denning)

school related: the beach, for an assignment. and some songwriting books
non school: war of the worlds, frankenstien, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, and i'm reading king dork again :) i just finished orpheus rising, it was really good, but sad. king dork is funny, and i haven't read enough of the others to decide yet. i agree, frankenstien's intro thing is way too long, and the story is kinda slow.

Not technically reading because I'm listening it thru audiobook, but I'm in the middle of Neil Gaiman's 'the Graveyard Boy'. So far so good, although for me Gaiman can't write anything that trumps his 'Anansi Boys'.

My Sixteenth Summer. Worst book I've ever read, barring Twilight. I could write better than the person who wrote this. Just because its in first person and from a 15yo point of view doesn't mean you can have poor writing skills and the mentality of a 10yo. Man, sometimes I HATE English. We're 16, not 6 people.
