Dont you think this is stupid? I mean really..UAC should do something about their program because it really is lame...there is and was NOTHING wrong with my computer nor the ADSL connection and I still couldn't even get INTO my preferences even though I already logged in my application..ugh

and really..at 11:45 PM, thats still 15 mins left and I still couldn't go in -___-

I think one of the Bosers put Masters of Philosophy as his first choice when he actually wanted to do engineering. You really should avoid life-alternating (course alternating) changes near the closing time (<40 mins). The server isn't big enough to handle the mass load of people. This happens in COTD where they sell $199 Wiis or popular World of Warcraft servers. Hopefully everything will work out fine for you

I remember logging in before the late round (Now called early feb round) before 10 minutes or 8 and it was FINE..but the Main Round was so BAD! I didn't know how bad it can be even 15 mins before..it like "freezes" when I try and get into my preference changes..:mad1:

It's due to the fact that so many people are doing the same thing and making preference changes at the last minute. Servers clog up, and there's nothing that can be done.

Reminds me of my computer skills test for the SC. Delayed by 1.5 hours because of server problems.

Its cruel that the time gap between preferences closing and release of offers is so large.

I hate UTS's campus or rather collection of buildings, even more than i hate USyd's campus XD

That and i already got into UNSW Civil Engineering so it doesn't matter

Just a question actually. If I get into my first three preferences for example, do I get three letters in the mail, or do I just get one from my first preference and then other if I choose not to accept it?

you can only recieve one offer at any one time, so no you wont get three letters/offers. you will only recieve an offer for your highest ranked prefrence for which you qualified.

eg.
if you qualified for your 1st prefrence, you will get that offer.

if you then decline that offer, you will instantly and automatically get an offer from your 2nd highest ranked prefrence for which you qualified

and so on and so on..

Yes because four months to make up your mind wasn't enough - god forbid if you couldn't change your mind in the last 15 minutes.
