yeah our first year cse kids are fucking basement asians that hang around in the basement (literally) of our faculty building playing video games with each other or being fuckwits playing ball games in a study area and yelling and screaming about fucking memes and video games for 10 hours per day

9am-7pm

was ridiculous
Fuck +100 right there, seriously so true, when I did a CSE course I raged so hard at the people in it.

I was considering joining until I watched last years revue Youtube and it was absolutely awful.

I got the impression that everyone involved believes that simply stating a stereotype is the funniest thing in the world. No word play, no twist, no misdirect, nothing that would normally make a joke work as a joke. Just a blatant, cold reading of a clinical and mundane list of stereotypes is what gets them going.

It was one of the most intellectually vacant, unfunny, boring "comedy" performances I've ever seen (though I haven't seen the other UNSW revues). I can't think of something being more dull than what they find amusing, if you take them at face value that this is all "just a joke" and not actually deplorable.
Where did you see clips of the show?

When joinning clubs/society during o-week, and if there's a fee to join, do you pay on the day, or they put your name down and you pay them later. Trying to make sure I have enough leftover after paying some bills tomorrow.

You usually pay at their stall.

Joining clubs is cheap though, perhaps no more than $10 per club at the very very very most.

Hmm seems like I'll be able to swing it then :) Need to get my arc membership done - but I get confused with their wording. They mention it being free, then $29?

$29 if you want extra services. For example, I'll be paying $29 so I can use the Arc Music Room.

The full extra services you get for $29 are on their website, like stuff like legal representation and other things like that.

From what someone told me here the other day, some charge a feee that at maximum is $10, but that the majority of them don't cost money. I guess I'll find out tomorrow :/ There's about 4 groups I'm really interested in, and I'm guess there will be more there than what's on the arc website?
