actually english doesn't need to count for all rounders
but english will certainly count for your ATAR

so basically you can get a band 1 for english but get band 6s for you other 8 units of subjects and still get an all rounders?

no. he meant that you can be doing 12 units. so if the remaining 10 units are band 6s you can still get an all rounders.

what is a band 6? is it 90+ in raw mark or 90+ in scaled exam mark

For example, I plan on getting an all-rounder award, but I plan on getting 78ish in English.
