Btw, could you explain where the phloem is? I am so confused. Are the companion cells and sieve tubes a part of the phloem?

The phloem is in the vascular bundle along with the xylem. Many sieve tubes make up the phloem, as well as companion cells and fibres.

We've started the first section of Blueprint of Life.

hoenstly, I have no idea how you're even meant to study for bio. What do you do? Just comprehension which is consolidated with notes and then past papers? i dont have the best of teachers

*hi-5* Mine is the worst ahah. Basically what I'm doing is going over certain sections of the topic such as excretion in MAB and then doing dotpoint questions and past papers. But the thing is i don't know where I can mark my questions if my teacher doesn't even do it..

Just memorise, learn, and practice writing answers. Done.

Pretty straight forward. It is better to understand but I'm not going into the whole Understanding > Memorising crap. Basically memorise whilst trying to understand the concept behind it. That's my approach.

That's a good approach. If you memorise and learn you will most probably understand the shit behind it anyways.
