Sigh. Feels like I go through the same thing every year.

Sep last year: "Yearlies coming up, I'll rest after that!"
Oct: "SC coming up, dw, hols are coming!"
Nov: *battles with maths*
Dec + Jan: *more battles with maths* + "Phew, let's take a break, a very short break..."
Feb: "OMEGEE it's year 11! shock!"
...

You know, I just find myself thinking, "Don't think about the hols now," throughout the year o.0 And when they do come, they just go in a blink of the eye <.<

Well, this is my outline of the holiday period coming up:
Late December/Early January - Christmas and New Year's celebrations
Early January/Early February - Sleep
Day before school - Schoolwork that was supposed to be done during the holidays

well you most obviously seem to have some natural inherent geniusness ^^ to be able to afford such luxuries and still have realistic aims of >99.5

unfortunately not all of us are so gifted :(

Only need? You make it seem like its easy to get 98!
Sarcasm...although from what I've seen if you know the course and what they expect from you and give them just that you're on a winning streak.

Sadly, it's the giving part that most people fail at.

Do some school work on the way to school. It's more efficient. =p
Not the case for me. Almost every morning I'm gazing out of the train window aimlessly due to me sleepiness *yawn*

I run to school every morning so it'd be quite hard to hold the pen to paper.

It's possible, assumed knowledge for medicine is chemistry then either physics or biology (correct me if I'm wrong here), and as long as you do well in the HSC and UAI, as well as pass the interview, you should be able to get in.
