yeah i get ur point
sex really needs more than one person actually caring about whats going on for it to b even a little bit alrite
It also makesn it really hard. If they just wanna sit back and enjoy then you get tired really quickly.

My advice, go out with a man whore, then you'll know what experience does..............................ignore that advice:)

The first kiss and the first fuck are put on the red carpet to resemble the 'Cinderella Story'... we want a fairytale... we want romance, perfection... a memory to tell our grand kids...

I, however, will not be sharing either... that is my first kiss or first root with my grand children... Reason being they dont need to hear the disappointments.

I will fabricate a scenerio similar to Snow White if need be.

That'll go really well.:)

Hey new member!

Yes, it's really overrated lol...prolly the thrill of it and the inner animal in all of us - the need for the oooomph. It's also the media portrayal of it, which makes it seem a lot more irresistable than it is. Like beauty, you've gotta be careful with it :) ...yeah, part of the disappointment and i.e. your question, comes from a bad experience of sex, that's when the "truth" comes out lol, but hey one bad experience shouldn't define it all! I'm still a virgin, so I prolly can't help you as much...but most of the time it's only good with someone you're having a relationship with. All the best!

You've never had sex, yet you say it's overrated.
Nice work.

do you guys reckon you need to be emotionally attracted to the person or just phisically? i have heard people go both ways. i tend to think there needs to be emotional attatchment in it for it to be truly enjoyable

I agree, I've never really enjoyed sex, but i've never really had an emotional attachment to the person either.

i think there needs to be an emotional attachment. you can be reasonably hot but i'd still feel nothing.

i'd say its a person by person thing.... personally though, i can't at all imagine having sex with someone i don't care about greatly.

Firstly i think you HAVE to be physically attracted to a person before even thinking about having sex... i dont think you could prep yourself up to have sex with someone you're not attracted to.

Secondly, i think the emotional attachment is a bonus - in a relationship. But if you find yourself in a one night stand / 'Friends with benefits' situation... having an emotional attachment to the person is never good / easy... Purely because the other person is not guaranteed.

Sex is probably one of the personal experiences you can have with another person. And it involves sharing yourself in the most vulnerable state you can be in... But i find, hook up's and random roots are always more fun when you leave excess baggage at the door... You can walk away with your cake and eat it too that way... And if you need be, another day u can bang on that door of opportunity, do it all again and walk away without having to stay the whole night laying in each others broken sweated existence....

Its overrated to the max... Television and film have produced it into such a bigger image than its original size.

Sex is nice, but a kiss from your loved one, from the heart, is much more nicer and pleasurable.

c0mplaisant
yeah, because you can totally orgasm from a kiss.

people who complain about sex being overrated are usually ugly, don't have the oppurtunity to do above average girls (or even get them to speak to you) or are too convinced that being the nice guy in a social group is the way to go.

the topic creator is named AFRO-GIRL. HELLO, A FUCKING AFRO, ON A GIRL. now that's fucked up. and i totally sympthasise with you, saying sex is overrated on an online forum.

go clubbing if you're old enough, chat up more people at parties, go socialise with new people, dress differently, start meeting new people out in person or even on msn, and when you see the beautiful people that are possible to be sexed you will definitely call yourself an idiot for even thinking that it's overrated.

oh and to those people who want to stay with kissing their partner for the next 5 years until they're married, good luck. you're going to need it. at least i'll be happy knowing someone is going to have a bleeding vagina on their wedding night.

what i find stupid is the big deal of the 'first.' first is usually the worst, first kiss was shit but apparantly i was a great kisser  too bad she wasnt. Everyones like 'lolz loser' @ virgins, but...i dont see the big deal. I'm a virgin and some of my closest friends are too and when people ask 'r u a virgin' if you say 'yes' you just have that feeling that you're being patronised...but why?

anyway, i believe that those who say sex is overrated just aren't doing it right.
