question then through observations: why are so many people left orientated
I'm not 100% sure. It could be because many more young people believe that the elected Government should be 'socially responsible' and that employees, under-represented groups, Indigenous Australians etc should have more rights; rather than the Government supporting employers and businesses, encouraging the free market concept and the adoption of generally more conservative views. That's just a stab though. Young people are generally more inclined to feel strongly about the rights of others, the protection of the environment etc, but once they're in the workforce fulltime or own their own businesses this may change.williams180 said:question then through observations: why are so many people left orientated
It's a difference in opinion of either what's fair for everyone OR what will benefit the individual more (financially or otherwise).williams180 said:question then through observations: why are so many people left orientated or right orientated?

please, this must be a joke. How can you get left on anything. When u get greens at almost 90% thats when you know it must have been a joke. -100% traditional values( anarchism) and economic policy, political and social policies indicate a love for communism
Or he would be smart about it and change the legislation for electoral roll cut offs so that approximatley 80,000 probable young labor voters would miss out on voting.williams180 said:if John Howard saw this thread he would be greatly concerned for the misguided youth of Australia
