State Library is in the inner city. You get off at St James or Martin Place, then it's a quick walk from there.

Or you can do what I did once; walk from Town Hall.

Either way... I don't recommend the 2nd one

State library has its disadvantages. One of them is that the nearest food court is all the way down on Pitt St. Unless you're looking for maccas which is in the Martin Place Station but who wants maccas when you can have KFC!

Actually in the Chiffley Plaza opposite the State Library they have a food court upstairs, its nice but expensive and more gourmet than maccas and fish & chips

and whats worst is the HSC collection to never to be lended out what cheapos. SO if you want to get the hsc books you gotta photocopy WHICH means you waste 20cent on each page if you can borrowed go sumfign like officeworks and photocopy = 7 cent. They only doing to make $$$ ..

that would be a really good idea but it would take too much adjusting at this late stage

STATE LIBRARY, MATE.
it's open 9am - 9pm!!! [11am - 5pm on weeknights!]

i know a lot of people say that you can't get anything done there, but... heh it depends on who you go there with -___-;;

i'm going to set up camp there very very soon... dad can send my pocket money via australia post :p

burwood library isn't that great, even if you're up the top [the "quiet" area], it's still bloody noisy and there are always little kids running around, and a lot of schoolkids go there to socialise O_____o;;
