lol why are you so opposed to arts students? obviously there are a lot of no-hopers in a BA but not all of them. in the states most people do a BA first before going to grad school or further research. i don't think it's a useless degree. i know a few people with a BA from australia and the us who are very successful. not everyone wants to be a doctor. yuck i couldn't think of a worse job actually lol!
