Just wait for the actual downloadable executable update then. At least that way you don't have to go redownloading all the patches everytime you format.

might have to start remaking ur WinXP CD's now.

Use 'nLite' to create custom made WinXP CD's.

It will save u time/space on your next install.

don't bother trying to install the pack on a 3 month old installation of windows. apparently my mates complained of performance issues, but after they reformatted on a new installation, everything was fine.

it's cutting down the unwanted parts of windows

haven't used it fully.

I made 1 cd. just mucking around to see what it can do.

but no porblems. very simple. Dunno about these later versions though.

i won't bother downloading it, i'll just wait until microsoft releases the free update CD
still deciding to install it even when i get it because i have never ever updated windows, 95, 98, 2000...never installed any updates and they all worked fine
its been released for quite a while..
well maybe you already know it but i just wanna make sure everyone knows

mine just arrived today
took a few weeks though
(and you dont need to provide any serial number to order the CD)

looks like mine is from Dutch then HongKong then Australia, FYI

YEah mojako, my SP2 CD from microsoft arrived today!
It said it was made in singapore, Hong Kong postage paid, but had a green Dutch Airmail Post sticker on it

LOl, it's gone around the world!

yeah its exactly the same as mine!!
which also arrived today
so maybe they mailed it in bulk
