That clock is so off putting if you're a year 12 student I reckon. But realistically, it goes so fast.

Hey guys, what 4U book/s should I borrow from the library/buy? (Maths):

- Cambridge
- Patel
- Terry Lee
- Coroneos
- Fitzpatrick

Thanks. :)
I know Carrot likes Coroneos for its questions and explanations and people say Terry Lee is good too

DELTA>0 is when delta can only be greater than 0.

DELTA=>0 is when delta approaches 0 (I'm assuming that's an arrow, hence an approaching sign).
and DELTA > 0 what is the difference between these 2................

WHAT DOES DISTINCT mean?

^ ALL REGARDING TO ROOTS

Real roots.
What do u mean real roots?
1. Do the roots have to be different? (How many?)
2. 2 equal 1 different?

EDIT: Well my guess is that real roots is when DELTA is positive
1. IF they say, real and distinct roots i use DELTA greater or equal to zero
2. IF they say, real roots i use DELTA greater or equal to 0?

Just look at the equation.

If the discriminant =0 then you only have 1 (real) root since the plus minus disappears.

If discriminant is positive then you have 2 real roots.

Meh, you're only in year 10. With consistent practice and hard work (which I'm sure you'll do.....), you can move up higher :D

Didn't you say there were King's students there as well though? King's isn't selective, is it?

Did you get the actual test paper with questions? I might give it a go if you have it - seriously though, I bet I'll full fail it because I'm not that far accelerated by my tutor. :( Also, improvements are good, so nice work I guess.
