Re: The p00n thread
Man.. you haven't seen my school... we have a specialised place for doing dat stuff.
Even our captain is yeah... and many others...
And yeah, I see nothing wrong with being a HK. Let others be what they want.
Not everyone needs to be studying Physics, Chemistry, 4U Mathematics.
Not everyone needs to be ''normal''.
If you treat them nice, they'll treat you the same way (generally) in return. If you don't criticise them, they won't criticise you. That's how I get along with everyone at school.
Sure bro, if they grow up to be junkies who live on the streets, they need tax money to survive. Should I spend my hard earned money on someone who stuffed their own life up?
If you really want everything to be ' let everyone do what they want', then abolish all welfare and let everyone fend for themselves, but that is hardly fair no?
Thanks for drawing my attention.
You did not just say that.
It's just the nature of those subjects to be like that though and rote learning is necessary at certain points. People who do those subjects may be choosing them because they're interested in them rather than because of the rote nature of the subject.
Some people do different types of subjects though - I think I do more rote subjects but I still do understanding subjects like maths...
Scaling is determined by how well a cohort does in their other subjects as well as their own. If the scaling for Business/Bio/Legal are low then its the fault of the cohort, what is interesting is these are all rote learning subjects, meanwhile all the non-rote subjects -> 4U/3U Maths, 4U/3U English, scale really well
You can then easily deduce that rote learners are less intelligent then.
Which is why the HSC caters towards them because this country is all about a fair go, so we just lower the quality to give everyone the chance. Hence putting our education standards behind other countries, because our education system allows low-intelligent people to cheat and not learn anything at all - all in order for them to have a fair go
You for 4U of course
Hahaha nope
