I personally would never do one as it's hard to analyse... but anyway here's what i've thought of after listening to it:

** It is an epic song
** An individual might blame themselves for not belonging
** An individual will feel isolated and hurt if they do not belong
** When they do belong, it is not as great as they thought it was
** An individual cannot belong until they accept themselves for who they are (they need to let go of their skepticism/negativity in order to belong)

In terms of techniques, the strong beat could suggest frustration or something along those lines.

Yes, it incorporates some aspect of belonging but hardly. There isn't depth of knowledge that you can delve into and you will see great lack of techniques to talk about.
