how long does it take someone to finish it?

idk how but when i did the 2001 paper.. i finished it in an hour.. with options.. and i havent seen the questions before..

I normally do most of it in 2 - 2.5hrs and have a good 30min to check.

the trial i finished with 45 mins to spare but with past hscs i only have about 30 spare

yea....in my opinion the hsc seems pretty simple compared to trials.....

Wouldn't get too comfortable.

This year, I didn't finish the 3 unit maths paper. I can seriously say I've 15+ 3 unit past papers/trials and not once did I run out of time.

The new committees are screwing me over.

yeah i'm getting more stressed as my exams go along because everything is so much more unpredictable

that might be true considering that i missed a 2 mark question in question 1 in that exam.. it was only differentiation =( LOL

On the other hand, I frequently ran out of time during practice but I didn't in the HSC lol..

Just different style

Had about 20mins to spare in the trial
But past HSCs have all been around the full 3hr mark :( I need to write faster >.>

I counted the lines from the success one book? and wrote well beyond it..
and for the option i did 3-4 pages? i think including diagrams

QUESTION for whoever can answer it:
do we ask for more paper if they dont give enough space on the sheet or do we continue down to the blank space under the lines??

I only made the thread to see whether others finished the exam in a similar time because i found it weird that is all.

You will not finish it that quick.
More pressure will be on you in the exam.
Just take your time with each question, plan your attack before you start writing.
