Re: Ext 2 Past Papers + Answers

I have just noticed that HSC+CSSA Trial Past Papers + Answers Sorted by topic, for 2u, 3u and 4u maths have been uploaded to the Resources section. They are listed under general and under the year 1990, however the questions are from 1984-1996.

I think that this an easy and less expensive way to practice on past papers.

Here is the link. Go to the bottom of the general section.
do these come with solutions? if not, do you know where I could find some?

I've got 00-06 and 09. If you have a friend from SBHS then you can try to get the papers off them, i think SBHS have the trial papers on their intranet.

Re: Ext 2 Past Papers + Answers

The HSC exam committee is releasing their solutions on the internet for the first time this year onto the Board of Studies website.

Previously very few people have had access to these documents which were never published before. I think most people will welcome the policy change at the Board of Studies.

Here's the 4 Unit Mathematics one for 2009:

http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.a..._doc/mathematics-ext2-sample-answers-2009.pdf
I had a look some time ago. I found that they were quite lacking in some areas of detail and precision ... which is a shame.
