Has anyone heard or read about the changes to rugby leagues infrastructure or board or something? Could someone please explain what that is all about and what would happen with those changes?

atm, the NRL is owned by both the ARL (Australian Rugby League) and News Ltd


from my understanding of it, News Ltd are looking to part ways with the game and thus required is an independent commission to run the game.. one that will be the governing body and will also deal with all RL related matters in this country

we as fans probably won't notice many changes.. imo/from my understanding.. which is hardly anything on the matters

I thought the 4-quarters thing was a bit rubbish. Didn't mind the 'powerplay' but don't wanna see that in the season either.
