so at first i was pretty apprehensive about the casting, and how good it would be compared to the book, but it looks like it has some potential after all. maybe we will get a decent australian action film for once?

I liked only the first book in the series...I think I read up to book 4 and got tired of the protagonist having a whinge about everything.
I'll defz go see the movie, tho.

I haven't got extremely high hopes for the movie. It looks okay though so I'll definitely go and see it but I won't be surprised if it doesn't follow the books or anything.
I think the books are brilliant (except it took me forever to finish reading the second one because I thought it dragged on a bit).

yeah i thought this too, i mean wtf neighbours and h2o? but im still clinging to hope, trailer really doesn't help though.

like a couple of others have said, hopefully they won't deviate too much from the storyline, but they probably will stuff it up. i hope not though cause i like the books.

i also read somewhere that they would make the first three, and make the rest into a tv series. i think it's stupid, they should do one or the other. tv show would probably fail.
