I really hate it when FPS get the reloading of weapons wrong. When the M4 fires its last round the bolt does not close and remains open. You get rid of the empty magazine and insert a fresh one and hit the bolt release to close the bolt and chamber a new round. Pulling back on the charging handle takes way longer and is not necessary.

Samesies with chambered rounds disappearing after a tactical reload, after a tactical reload you should have 31 rounds instead of 30. I can't imagine it being too hard to implement, e.g.

reload
     if ammocount = 0
          then set ammocount = 30
     else
          set ammocount = 31

But I think it's like that for gameplay purposes, if you could reload a particular weapon much more quickly than others than that weapon becomes overpowered.

Realism is fun in itself, why else are military shooters more popular than sci-fi shooters atm? Like most of my friends prefer CoD, BF, MoH etc. as opposed to UT, Quake, Halo etc.

BF and CoD are trying to be as realistic as possible but still appeal to a wide audience by not making it too difficult.
