by doing so, you are assuming all subjects have the same cr points although in reality they don't. Some have 1, 2,3,4, although mostly 3. it's a bit more complicated than that.
I know that you can't do accg340 unless you passed either of the units but my friend got PC and he applied for a waiver to ACCG340 and his waiver was granted.

Yeah pretty much but mostly from what I expected and my performance throughout the sem. The thing that I think was a bit weird is only those ver2 subjects' marks that I feel so. Others were pretty much what I expected.
Mark discrepancies are something like the sum of your final exam paper marks was wrong (you should have got 70 but you only got 64) or the SNG mark you got was so different from your raw marks.
I might be wrong though, but that's what I read and heard.
