definitely. I barely passed well in advanced in yr 9/10. so i knew general was the way to go. it scaled me down a bit...but its better than getting scaled down more than doing badly in 2Unit.

I have to disagree. Gen Maths is great for learning about things in life. 2U u never will have to use unless you do maths at uni! Not everybody is born smart, Gen maths is a great alternative for some.

At this stage u dont have to do anything if u have a first round offer. The problem with not accepting an offer, is it is not a guarantee, i mean if more ppl accept than what the uni wants, then there is no guarantee they will hold ur place. More over though, u dont have to accept the offer...

Hmmm. Very interesting. I got a first round offer in 04. If u choose to reject a first round offer or not answer, u r not guaranteed a place at that uni. However, if u accept the offer u forego the other rounds. O...btw...if its within the same uni...u can switch. other option is an irregular offer.

I agree. He definitely is a snob. Look if you can get into Macquarie uni that's pretty good. Considering im not paying international student fees, im happy where i am. UNSW and USyd are OK too, but i wouldn't pick if you're an aussie student - UAI's! Yes it would be better to split because...
