are you thick or something dash? :p i go there because i have can do 12 hours of 'potential' work. like pri said, no one can do 12 straight or reach there on time, even around 10 is a lot! i can go to local library, 10-7.30, but people end up coming there that i know and that sometimes...

    Special Relativity question

hahah, sorry...i thought i was summing up, "what may be occuring for a person in an inertial frame of reference, may not be in accordance with what the person in the non-inertial frame of reference" into the phrase, "relativity of simultaenity" hmm...they kind of link together...except the...

    how do eddy currents work?

yeh, ur right ND Because we are moving a current thorgh this magnetic field, the current sets up its own magnetic field. this should have been written: Because we are moving a conductor through this magnetic field, a current is induced, the current sets up its own magnetic field. i...

    predict my UAI, please?

hahah why? 1. are you making them up? 2. you are not confident? for your sake, i hope 2. :D you should be happy with your result and look forward to the hsc!!!

    how do eddy currents work?

no problems :) also you may want to look at the heating effects of eddy currents in its applications and the problems it creates and how they are solved. application: induction cooktops. problems: the build up heat can damage the parts and is essentialy a waste of energy. solutions...

    how do eddy currents work?

you may also want to include lenz's law in it too. :) having the correct terminology helps.

    Special Relativity question

D just need to look at length contraction of the ruler as sally will be moving relative to sue at approx c. also, both will see the other persons clock to be slower. think relative movement and relativity of simultaenity

    mistakey on the csu site?

yes, satellites can orbit earth at an altitude of ~300 to ~800 km. and earth's radius is 6400km. so its very likely that the question is 'correct' and the radius is included. maybe the term orbit, takes into account the radius of earth.
