agreed with the comments.. timetabling at usyd is so inflexible (it's online but it depends on supply/demand).
I personally wouldn't recommend usyd unless:
- you're not working
- you don't mind if your sexy 2-3 timetable becomes void because of some stupid reason and you end up going to uni 4-5...

but anyway, yes there are active korean communities at usyd. i know of 2 (ksa, kesus) but there might be more. pretty much all of them are international students. i hear ksa always go partying and drinking soju etc if you're into that kind of thing.
claw1001 - the textbook exists for clarifying lecture content. if you get the lecture slides, i don't think you'll have much of a problem. for exams, all you have to know are principles and authorities - e.g. advertisements are generally treated as invitations to treat & not offers (carlill)...
what's your reasoning for transferring from UWS to UTS and not MQ/USYD/UNSW?
