You do really calling me a 'chick' makes it sound like you must be male lol!
Anyway, I am more than happy to help you out.
Saw you made a post so will answer you there, if you need anymore help let me know.
it boggles me that anyone (other than those where their parents are paying) have enough money to just pay it all up front!
Anyone have an extra $30,000 they wanna throw my way . . .
In saying that I pay rent etc so I guess if you pay no expenses and work you may be able to do it.
We haven't enrolled yet so I guess we can't access email yet.
Isn't that what we do when we go in for academic advising? I don't think we have technically enrolled yet . . .
I didn't get a call though =)
Bcom/BSc - def the best option it will open lots of doors (if you choose majors wisely)
BSc (Adv) (USyd) - Still great but obviously limiting yourself to Science unlike the option of doing it with Bcom
BPsych (USyd) - Very niche and may push you into a corner you don't wanna be!
or BLaw/BSc...
As far as I am aware you can select any units you want as long as you have done the pre req's i.e. if you have done the pre req or there is no pre req you can do 200 level units in your first yr.
Cool - just annoyed because it means i will be in 4 days in Sem 2 instead of 3 all because it has 2 lectures 2 tutes and a practical! Never mind =) BTW what's the practical? What does it involve?
I'm not going to UNSW but was looking for a thread like this.
Do you think Marketing would go well with Economics? I'm thinking Economics may compliment it by looking at the bigger picture, especially if I wanted to go into brand management or something similar. But obviously don't want to do...
Thing is you were quick to abuse but not so quick to show you were so smart that you knew the answer!
perhaps next time you have nothing constructive to say, how about you just don't say anything huh . . .
So If I start a 3 yr degree in Feb 2010 do I graduate in 2012 or 2013. 3 years is 2012 but someone said it would technically 2013.
Just wanted to check =)
I worked it out as:
2010 = 1 yr
2011 = 2 yr
2012 = 3 yr
Wasn't that just sore on the brain? My lectures are over 3 days so I don't have that choice but I assum that didn't leave you much time to socialise at uni?
I got a pack the day after my UAC letter with the postcard.
It had a diary and a form to complete to ensure you have done everything before academic advising. Also had some promo material in it.
If you haven't got it in Mondays mail maybe just call them.
I am extremely nervous because I am going as a mature age student (I'm in my early 20's) and I did high school in a different country! So I will def not see anyone I know!
I am going to try and be brave and say hi to someone =)
You didn't hijack it's more or less what I was asking. Some units I am interested in but not enough to do a full degree on it but interested enough to want to do it for some of my electives.
Well I am a newby this year in B' Commerce - my plan is:

Ok quick questions - I'm almost there! Event though when I get to academic advising at my time slot they will prob all be full!
So is it best to have back to back classes or is it ideal to leave 1 or 2 hours between each class to relax and look at notes, or does that just get boring?
I have to choose electives for my 2 sem.
This will be my first year at uni and I just wondered how others choose their electives.
If I have covered all the pre reqs and so I can choose anything I want.
Do people normally just choose other units for their faculty or do you take a stab and...
