I don't know if you already know this, but I'll say it anyway :p The key to getting good marks is to pay attention to the verb in the question. (eg Explain, Analyse, Recount) It details how much info you should give or how detailed and sophisticated you're response should be. You can blabber...

My teacher was bearable... But I never really listened to him... All I did in class was write up my summary notes... That kept me occupied and awake :D So yeh, you could do that... Teach yourself in class time :)

I used to find the Motors & Genz topic pretty difficult. The calculations and the functions of the motor (esp induction) had me confused :p But if you just spend time on it you'll be alright as I was later on... Well that's prolly the only thing for me :)
