Statics and Mechanics are the hardest subjects in the engineering Stream, well for the Civil/Mechanical stream from my knowledge.

U cant sub-major or minor when undertaking combined/double degrees. So for the fello above, no you cant specialise in structural engineering, you would be specialising in straight civil engineering.
