Help In Understanding a particular past of an ass. task

Welcome new fellow Boser! :D I don't get your question either, what exactly is the dot point that the question is referring to? By the way Airie, your suggestion of alchemy is very interesting! :uhhuh:

    selective school

Try to do well in your current school (pretty obvious I realise) and it might be helpful if you participate in extracurricular activities such as music, sport or debating. A girl in my class got into Hurlstone too but declined, her report card was pretty good and she did heaps of extracurricular...

    simplify does that mean..

Simplifying and factorising aren't really opposites. Expanding is the opposite of factorising and simplify is collecting like terms, as you've said.

Looking at slinkies for two whole weeks?? Golly, is it meant to be helpful? In bio we were counting ants and yellow beads, for two periods only though :)

what shall i do if i wanna study medicine

Me three, 3u maths is all we've got I think. Some schools just have more variety in the subjects to accelerate in probably and some simply don't (as Dzzling_07 said), regardless of being govt, private or selective. But oh well, I'm no expert at this.

    Who despises english advanced already?

*gasp* I'm crazy! *looks for a tree* Nah, I wouldn't want to hurt the tree :p Hmmm, yeah I guess after doing it week after week is a bit bleh but it's still quite fun :) Ahaha, I personally like it because of its subjectivity. I don't mind either maths or english but it's cool how english...

How many hours of hw/studying do U do?

Ours too and I still think it's expensive! Ahaha  They should be 5 cents or something. Once something happened to the our photocopier and it was printing stuff for free and the librarian didn't even know. I didn't print anything though, darn, I should've. Rorting the school would be fun...

    Who despises english advanced already?

I'm gonna go against the grain here and disagree with you. I actually quite like Adv English (for now I suppose ) and writing stuff about poems is pretty fun. Of course I'm sure it'll grow more tedious as time goes on  I'm doing that now, it's okay, we watched the movie and bahaha...

How many hours of hw/studying do U do?

Whoa really? Well maybe except for the books lining the shelves. There's this cool librarian at my school who tells all the kids to shut up or else they get kicked out. Yay!

    help~ Bio--> anerobic cellular respiration

Imagine ATP and ADP as a picture. ADP is 'DI' so it has two phosphates (Adenosine-P-P) ATP is 'TRI' so it has three (Adenosine-P-P-P) Energy is stored in the chemical bonds of ATP but when they're broken, energy is released. Therefore it becomes (Adenosine-P-P) (P) In other words, ADP + P...

    simpson's rule

It does help to skim through both to see which one works for you but of course, it is much easier to just stick to what you knew first. Thanks for the tip though :)

    Inter and Intra molecular bonds

Yay! We learnt that recently :) I'll give my 2 cents but I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for or if I'm entirely correct. IONIC - formed between a non-metal and a metal - Involves the giving and taking of electrons - formed between positive (cations) & negative (anions) ions -...
