    So, I am shitting myself.

alot of people are accused of malpractice. It's stupid. When you've put in effort to get a decent result and people accuse you of malpractice, it insults your intelligence and ethics.

    Comparison of Math

Its true that our grader is shitter compared to '07 which had many brilliant people (and our grade has none). Although there were still people who got <70% for the first complex exam, and ended up getting 95+ for 4u hsc mark. And last years complex was dead ez comapred to ours.

    Comparison of Math

okay the "official" cut off was 70%. If you wrote letters to the school, then you could get in with lower marks. However. The average for 3unit was like ... 65%? And half the grade (last year) got band 6 for 3unit.

    Slingshot effect

No you didn't lol :P Firstly for the slignshot effect. Maximum kinetic energy gain, is when the probe meets the planet head on, the probe will speed up the most this way (source: surfing physics), so that kinda contradicts how you said it will slow down (what are your sources?). My questions...

    Properties of a mixture

The other components of bauxite do not dissolve and are filtered from the solution as solid impurities (clarification) Solubility/particle size i guess. When then heated to 1050°C, the aluminium hydroxide decomposes to alumina (calcination), giving off water vapor in the process: mmm...some...

    Properties of a mixture

Well only the alumina is being turned into Aluminium hydroxide. So the property is the fact alumina can be turned into aluminium hydroxide and the other stuff can't. I wouldn't exactly say its solubility. (since the Al(OH)3, is the soluble part, not the alumina itself) ):

Do something easy. Something you can REMEMBER in an exam. I.e. Harvesting of salt from sea water. Why make it hard for youself.
