People don't know HOW to learn.

It is sad to see that so many of you apparently have inadequate teachers. Awesome to see a lot of you taking it on ourself. That is what you have to do. Learning doesn't stop after high school, nor does it after university. If anything, it gets harder as university lecturers wont have time to...

    Long Responses in Physics

If you dont mind me asking, why such advice? Is the main Physics teacher at Penrith an asswipe? For OP: According to all the conferences which I have attended, dot points are fine. I tell my students to follow the structure as such 'IDEAAL' - Identify, Describe, Explain, Analyse, Assess, Link...

    Question about tension? Please help!

No probs :) Does it make sense?

    Question about tension? Please help!

    Yep, Applied force is 15N. Fnet = ma (3kg mass x 5ms^-2) = 15N Left T12. The tension in the rope is causing 2 x 1kg blocks to accelerate at 5ms^-2, therefore Tension = 2 x 5 = 10N, likewise, T23 - tension is causing 1 x 1kg block to accelerate at 5ms^-2, therefore Tension is 1 x 5 = 5N

    Quick multiple choice question

This is the second part of M&G -- looking at electromagnetic induction. When the copper coil swings past the pendulum, it experiencesachanging magnetic field, which induces an EMF into the coil, but as the electrons have no where to flow (it is not a closed circuit) there is no current. By...

    motor effect questions

Your diagram it would not be 90 degrees as the conductor and the magnetic field lie in the same plane, both are running into/out of page and across page (this is the x/z plane) Plane refers to the two dimensional slice in which something lies. Think about a classroom, you are facing the...
