    That tower question

Awesome question. Definitely will discriminate the band 6 students from the band 5 students.

Only ever use sig figs in your final answer, not your working.

    Question on lenz law-HSC

Shit question. It says increasing current -- induced current depends on the RATE at which flux changes. If current increases at a steady RATE, induced current would be constant. If current INCREASES at a DECREASING rate, then the answer will be different.. For direction, use RHG rule. Current...

    42 hours

This year is all about being consistent people! Give yourself a short-term aim which seems just that little bit out of reach. Work hard. Ask plenty of questions, both in class and out of class. Contribute to class. Constantly re-assess and adjust your aims. Be realistic. If you were getting 30%...

    Michelson Morley question.

Agree with the first sentence -- yep, you can say that the 'experiment did not detect any motion of the Earth relative to the aether' -- multiple reasons were thought up to account for this Karl Popper - "no amount of experiments could ever prove a scientific theory, but a single experiment...

Q11: The diagrams do not illustrate an AC induction motor, rather the principle behind the operation of an induction motor (changing magnetic field will induce a current in a conductor), the one which illustrates this most correctly would be (c) Hope that helps :)

Hey mate, Q6: Key thing is that the Oval is not centred around the magnetic pole, keeping in mind that the magnetic field would be weaker the further away from the pole that it is (just like further away from a bar magnet -- B-field gets weaker), so the answer is A. What you say about magnetic...

How does a Solar Cell Work?

As Asianese said, mention the diffusion and E-field first - Solar cell converts solar energy --> electrical energy - N-type is thin and transparent (top layer) so that photons of sunlight can travel through N-type and hit the junction - P/N junction and subsequent diffusion of majority charge...

    Tutor Pay At Tutoring Colleges

It really depends on your experience. Ive worked at a few and it ranges from around $20-25 for 1st year uni students (typically doing primary school or homework help) to around $75-90/hr for experienced teachers teaching senior classes, subject to the numbers of students in the senior classes.
