    UNSW O-Week Meat 2013

Good idea, I'll do that soon. We'll figure something out. But hopefully we'll be allowed in at least the Beergarden area. To be determined. We'll let you know.

    A few questions

You click 'yes, i want to leave the page' And there are PDF versions that are... illegal, or perhaps not current. And they sometimes cannot be borrowed from the library - and if they are, it's either only for 2 hours, or you got an old edition that'll be useless in some form.

    UNSW O-Week Meat 2013

Nah, it's alright. Most of the people here aren't our FB friends so... it wouldn't be worth it.

    UNSW O-Week Meat 2013

I think most of us will be there most days anyway. As long as it's not say... Friday, most people should be alright with it, right...?

i'm sure there are healthy options there that can appease your appetite I don't know :( you suggest things to do. (it'd be so much easier if everyone was 18 and we can all go to the unibar and commandeer a table) m8

    UNSW O-Week Meat 2013

Woah, I didn't know you used the site! Nice. TBD. If any of you have ideas on what we could possibly do, then sure. If not, I have zero problems with us crashing at the grass area near the Village Green and socialising or playing sport or whatever, and then having lunch at maccas.

    UNSW O-Week Meat 2013

(yes, 'meat' is spelled correctly - it's an inside joke) By popular demand (one person), us UNSW BoS-ers should meet up and do whatnot during O-Week. O-Week is a fun fun fun time, I contend that UNSW O-Week is the best you can find around these parts - and I think very few can genuinely...

    O-week

You want me to make a big thread and everything? It won't be a Unibar meet because... Unibar is kinda small and there'll probably be ID checkers everywhere. Plus you're 17 :p I dunno - suggestions then?

Wanting to transfer into the SEng/Arts Degree

The only thing you'll have to catch up on is "first year" Arts. You already did first year Software so you just continue on nicely as if you were just in Software Engineering - and use other spots to fill in Arts subjects.

    First year commerce subjects

Core are subjects you must do. Flexicore is a set of about six subjects, of which you have to do four or five (check your Handbook for the exact number). These are WAM boosters: ACCT1501 Accounting & Financial Mgt 1A ECON1101 Microeconomics 1 ECON1203 Business & Economic Statistics FINS1613...

    O-week

Foam party is on Thursday though. To the person who asked the question uhh... dunno. If you are looking to get involved in societies and all that - O-Week is the best time to sign up for them and meet new people and whatnot. So it might be worth it to come one day.

    Trig help!!!!

    Well, here's how I did part (i): Need to show \cos(46^{\circ}) = \frac{\sqrt{2}}{360}(180- \pi) Now \cos(46^{\circ}) = \frac{\sqrt{2}}{360}(180- \pi) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}\left ( 1 - \frac{\pi}{180} \right ) Convince that of yourself by doing basic algebra. We have: \cos(46^{\circ}) =...

MATH1131: Importance of lectures and tutorials?

Yes. But they're different streams taught by different pairs of lecturers - so one might be faster, one might be slower. It'll be okay if you keep to the same stream if possible. If you have to switch, you may be a bit behind - or a bit ahead and you may miss a few bits of info.

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official A-League Thread. As a goalkeeper, Ante Covic - what you doing m8 :( But still, fantastic win - and we're in second! Next week's game against the Victory is going to be a cracker - in terms of what it means for the table.
