Well, you have the textbook. Read it, and do the questions. Like you'd usually do in class.

If you want to teach yourself the content, you're really best using your textbook for that. Other people's notes may have gaps in them or may not explain it as clearly to you, though they might think it's perfectly clear.

You are allowed to skip lectures but really, if you're not going to go to those six hours of lectures - you then have to find six hours or so elsewhere to catch up. Engineering students have ridiculous timetables and I'm sure many of them don't work. You shouldn't either with that sort of load...
