Yeah, do your Commerce-y subjects and try again next semester. If it still doesn't work though, you now have done 4 subjects that won't count towards Economics and you'll have to stay back extra most likely, to fulfill degree requirements.
So it's a risk. But it'll inspire you to do better...
Sure you can't keep both? Time management often works real wonders.
14 units is no biggie - I did 14, and actually did 16 for a term and that was only slightly disconcerting in terms of the workload level. But that's just me.
If you define "1" as a variable, then yes. But that's just a silly example. Pi, as said before, can represent a function or be a variable - so there are situations when it is "legal" to differentiate it - and not just a contrived example.
Integration is just finding the area under the curve, pretty much.
So you just... add or subtract the areas using your Year 7 or 8 techniques.
Add the stuff above the x-axis. Subtract the stuff below the x-axis...
When am I free... well, next few weeks are pretty busy - but I'll let you know. Laser skirmish sounds good - you, and me, a little one-on-one action...
hmm
It makes perfect sense though. It's equivalent to say:
\frac{d}{dx}\left ( x^{3} \right ) = 3x^{2}
Moral of the story is you have to specify what you're differentiating with respect to :p

Also with people having problems with the analogy, focusing on the 'game' part is wrong. What I was getting at was, I don't like putting myself out there, but when I do - I want to make it meaningful and proper. I don't want to "play every hand"...
Masters is something you shouldn't even be considering now because you need to have graduated with something first before you can even apply for it.
For Honours, yes - you get your result, your WAM is just the average of your marks - and if it's high enough, and you want to, you'll be...
