You know what WAM is? Your average mark. Build your marks, and your WAM will grow. Simple. But if you start off with 70-75 WAM, good luck getting it to HD territory.

I had 6 periods a day, 55 minutes each. They were good.

A subject can't count twice. So you'll have more electives.

I remember I had a teacher who basically confused me about subtraction. This was in primary school. So... you know how you do manual subtraction, like 96 - 58, for example. You have to carry the 8 over or whatnot... Basically my teacher taught me the wrong method and... well, yeah. Confused...

Depends what module you do. I got a module where it was very easy, and I breezed past in the year. So really, if you like English, take it - and try it. It's a much easier subject than Advanced if you're into that sort of thinking, it's more... what uni English is. Less formulaic. More... literary.

How about... get past questions and send responses to your teacher so you can get feedback.

I'd say UNSW is your better bet. I'd wager that UNSW's Arts faculty is better than UTS', and I do know that UNSW's Business School is very highly regarded. But of course, it depends on what you want, and what majors you want to do, convenience to yourself, friends, etc.

Ah okay. And overseas? Nice! To where? If it's somewhere tropical - bring a laptop and write on the beach :p

I don't think many unis require maths - they'll either recommend it or assume you know it.

Looks like you've found the limit of your abilities. If your marks don't improve by the end of the year, and you feel you're spending ridiculous amounts of time studying for not much result - I'd suggest dropping it. But I'd suggest enjoyment and motivation as being more important things to...
