    days per week fulltime

5, unless you are really clever and can squish it all into 4. depends on your subjects, pracs are usually at set times and you cant change them, so it depends what your timetable is like

    STAT (&ret) RESULTS

i do vet science, and we had to do the stat multiple choice test to transfer in. Everyone in the course (who did well enough to get the transfer) got mid 90's or above. Three people got perfect scores, or 99.9's. I got 99.8. But thats vet science, one of the most competitive courses to...

see what you enjoy most in first year, because you really cant decide until you've done it, the sciences are all so different.

about Fee paying and the 20% discount

you pay at the beginning of each semester, and you can only pay for that semester, you cant pay in advance for the next semester. ( i think thats what u were asking... not sure...)

    which uni????????????????????????????????

depends what you want to do when you finish. If you want to do pharmacy at usyd, then you may as well start at usyd, make it easier to change courses without having to get used to a whole new uni etc. Also depends where u live, if you dont get into pharmacy then you dont want to spend extra...

    new sydney uni degrees

at a guess i'd say they'd be a bit higher than 80, i would have said around 90, especially the arts and sciences one. The main reason being that it offers legal studies subjects and will probably be a popular option for people who want to do law but dont think they can get in. Also, being so...

about Fee paying and the 20% discount

i had a friend who looked into it and she is much better off getting fee help than getting a bank loan, because of the extreme interest rates and the fact that banks arent all that willing to take a chance on students unless they have something to back them up... eg... parents with money. But...

about Fee paying and the 20% discount

that confused me, so i shall make my own summary. NB- all payments are done per semester, so you only pay for one semester at a time, or defer payment for one smester at a time. HECS = cheap, higher UAI. Pay upfront and get 20% off, or defer payment until you graduate and are earning a...

Usyd is the worst uni of them all.

i dont understand how you think people would vote for you when your entire campaign is based on the fact that a). you study at the con, B) you are chinese, and c) you think women are taking over the world. I would not vote for you because a) you have no qualifications that remotely...

who did YOU end up with?

yeah, i see two or three of my school friends in the holidays, and every now and again. Its hard coz everyone has moved away, and we are all so busy. I have uni friends, and they are tops, but its good to keep some friends separate from uni, to give you a change. Most people dont intend...

about Fee paying and the 20% discount

the 20% discount is only for HECS. You have the option of paying upfront, and getting 20% off, or deferring your payment till after you graduate, paying the full HECS rate. There are no discounts for fee paying, you have to pay the full amount for each semester up front, and its a lot more...

Usyd is the worst uni of them all.

women have been oppressed and abused for centuries, and in many cultures, still are. now that we have the upper hand, its time to get a little of our own back. Sux being the "downtrodden" one doesnt it Phanatical? imagine how the women felt for all those years! In the animal world, the women...

Usyd is the worst uni of them all.

I agree, i am just saying that i wouldnt want to be in that first bunch of students, because it is going to be hard for them to be the first ones through, and the first ones trying to get jobs in a workforce that is run by people who came from the "traditional" vet faculties. There will be...

Usyd is the worst uni of them all.

if my course was offerred at Maquarie or UWS i would go there... as long as the course was recognised by the AVA. For me, I didnt get to choose the uni, i just chose the course, and i would gladly trade my 3 hours travel a day for a uni closer to home, even if it was "less prestigious"...

04ers - What degree will you be doing?

yes that sounds good. I think thay are known as "first professional degrees" because it pretty much directs you straight into a set profession. There are 2 other things in that category too, umm, cant remember what....
