Do you have objections to eating farmed dolphin/monkeys etc

If it helps I also don't think farming of great apes is appropriate either. Pigs are smarter than your average cow but they're not that smart.

Yeah, but "contaminants" are rare in terrestrial animals, where generally the chain goes plant -> herbivore -> predator. You only really have to worry about biomagnification when you're talking about marine animals, where the chain can go bacteria -> algae -> herbivore -> predator -> predator ->...

Do you have objections to eating farmed dolphin/monkeys etc

Most eating fish are carnivores. Land-based predators are not farmed generally because it is harder, given that predators require meat, space, don't breed as quickly and don't produce as much meat-for-your-money. Generally, modern farming practices remove disease-based limitations to farming...

Mm. No. They are filter-feeders, sure, but I guarantee you the average fish has more "pollutants" than shellfish. Biomagnification, yo. Mmm no. It's not for "refining" or "cleansing". They need multiple stomachs to digest hard cellulose, and to get as much nutrition as they can out of...

They also tend to reproduce less often.

Um, no? I said it was likely that cetaceans were, not suids (I don't have an issue with eating pigs). Great apes are also believed to possess theory of mind abilities.

Do you have objections to eating farmed dolphin/monkeys etc

Because there comes a point when something is smart enough to be sentient, which whales and dolphins arguably are, and pigs are not. I don't know about you, but our sentience is really the only thing that separates humans from the rest of the animal kingdom - do you feel comfortable EATING...

Do you have objections to eating farmed dolphin/monkeys etc

Whales and dolphins are very, very, very smart. Depending on the species, they're smart enough to have regional cultures. They're probably smarter than chimpanzees, though it's hard to compare them (and them to us).

    8000 Word Limit!

50-60 words here or there won't be noticed. 600 will DEFINITELY be noticed.

    Does God exist?

I'm an agnostic atheist. I agree that we'll never prove anything either way, but on the weight of evidence (or rather, lack thereof) I actively disbelieve. Much like the tooth fairy, I guess.

You won't. Back up your library (File -> Library -> Backup to disk) and then reinstall over the top.

Oh right, it's 3.0.1. Have you tried reinstalling iTunes?

iTunes error 1013 on iPhone upgrade from 2.2.1 to 3.0.1

Isn't it? Er, well, whatever the latest firmware is. I was sure it was 3.1. Let me check, I updated the firmware on mine recently.

iTunes error 1013 on iPhone upgrade from 2.2.1 to 3.0.1

Maybe reinstall iTunes and then try again with the firmware ugrade? Or try and upgrade straight to 3.1?
