    well exercise is very general depends what kind of exercise you want/what you want to achieve. For cardiovascular training, running isn't. Interval sprints are. i.e. go hard out for 30 seconds (on anything. running, rowing, whatever) then moderate pace for 3 minutes repeat for ~20-30 minutes...
