Yeah, Very true. But considering on a normal day we used to have a tub full of dumps, getting it down to one pack is a vast improvement and got me a mention at the managers meeting.

If your contract starts on the Monday, I'm pretty sure if it's a public holiday that pays penalty rates 250%. If you go in you'll get 250% of pay, otherwise you'll get your normal pay rate if you don't come in. It gets different with easter sunday etc. Part time ain't that bad... Annual leave...

It's not that stupid. Many people see people giving ID over and expect them to be 18+. My friends and I went to a bar, one of us was 17, the bouncer saw his license but didn't even read the DoB. good night out! It works more than you think Just gotta be confident

Here's a fun little idea: I worked this out the other day, with Meat Dept we get some large hams which come unlabelled, just datecoded. Now, it is impossible/not easy to find where a list of PLU codes are, not on storenet etc. not in the gun. I called the largest store in our area and asked...

Get a job at my store, NOW! I need a better meat assistant! Also, bearing in mind when the real meat manager is there, his sales are hundreds of $ under plan.. People were congratulating me when I was only $20 short yesterday.

I am gonna ask for supervisor numbers tomorrow I think. The STM made me supervise checkouts for an hour while the supervisor went to lunch. Not like I can claim it, cause then I'd be earning LESS for that hour, than before - due to being meat manager. The supervisor (3i/c) told me I should ask...
