    UWS Medicine academic requirements, non-school leaver.

    Hi, I'm just wondering exactly what the entry requirements are for Medicine at UWS, considering I completed the HSC last year (ATAR: 99.50). I am going to do the UMAT this year and am currently enrolled in B.Psych at USYD. I know that UNSW uses a 50:50 ratio of HSC:Uni marks, but is UWS the...

    Super Smart Students

    At my school last year there was a girl who got over 99, had 14 units, 2 jobs and a boyfriend, was the nicest girl ever, and managed to also be very fit. i don't know how she did it. but it proves almost anything in the hsc is possible :)

    Twilight movie

    i liked it! but yes, i agree with some of the above criticism. the main things i had problems with were: - the crappy meadow scene, that was my favourite part of the book - bella's prom outfit. tights and chucks? let alone the dress not really looking how it was supposed to. - the attempts...

    UAI help

    Remember, its possible to get a very very high UAI with almost any subject combination. Sure, if you put enough hard work into them and are good at them, I dont see why you cant achieve your goals! :)

    Pdhpe ppl - Did anyone do first aid ?

    :uhhuh: Yeah we did first aid... for me it was easy, and it would be useful in real life, which I like. I like PDHPE, especially Body in Motion, I find that really interesting.

    Being in which grade was the coolest?

    Year 8 for sure - easy, fun, made new friends, were in the same awesome class for almost every subject and felt powerful over the year 7s (well there had to be someone). I remember spending hours on title pages to I could get a merit for it... LOL. VIVA 8.5! :)

    Mathematics --> General ??

    Actually, I think the problem may be with my studying. I hate studying for Maths! And when I do study alot, I seem to get questions that are so different to what I am used to when it comes to the exam. Do you reckon a tutor would help me with this?

    Mathematics --> General ??

    Okay so I am wondering whether I should move from Advanced to General Maths. This is only because I don't feel like I can realistically get very good marks in the subject, when compared to General. At the moment, I am coming 1st or 2nd in every subject except Maths, where I am coming roughly...

    Speech task tips

    I have a question - if you go over time (say by less than 10 seconds) how many marks would you expect to lose? (considering its a 20 mark task). I did an Advanced speech last term and they stopped me while i was halfway through my last line (at exactly 5 mins because it was a 4-5 min speech)...
