    Student Politics

But that is because USYD is tougher than all the other unis. True story. Was abused by a CHOICE handerer outerer type person. I informed them that I had already voted, but not for them. They called me a fag. My. I was so upset. I didn't know what to do. So I slashed the tyres on their...

    Blasts rip through Bali again

Here is a radical idea. If terrorists used smart bombs and talked of collateral damage maybe they'd then be regarded as liberators.

    SUV's and the burbs

Shiny fourbies in the city that never go off road should be banned. Same with bullbars in the city. If you go off road it is ok and understandable. If you use it as an Urban Assault Vehicle to take your spoilt brats to the poxy overpriced private school then you should hang your head in shame.

    Anyone Politically Involved

I'm centre. I agree with Labor on some policies. I agree with Liberals on some policies. I agree with Independents (shoutout to Andren) on some policies. I very rarely agree with either One Nation or the Greens. And I will never join a political party. I have far to much integrity for that.

Students block people out of Education discussion

Dunno why. I merely said I was at uni. Got a coffee, got the SMH, drank coffee, had a smoke, watched protest for 20 seconds, had a look at the paper then headed of the Fisher.

    Anyone Politically Involved

Hmmmm, all the young libs, You wets or uglies? Any of you staffers or anything for any MPs? Same with young labor. As for IR and Unions - Alex Hawke doesn't like unions, but that doesn't mean he wasn't ready to accept the 4% pay hike which the union fought for.

    SRC elections.

I voted for Nick Wood, and action (but Aardvark for Honi) as I belive he was the best candidate. I support a modified form of USU, but I would prefer the current system to none at all.

    Brogden Quits parliament

And that there was ALP style branch stacking by the uglies - eg Punchbowl and the brandished hand guns.

    Anyone Politically Involved

I am politically active but I refuse to join any political party. To give you an idea of my rough political stance my two least favourite political groups are One Nation and Socialist Alternative.

    Brogden Quits parliament

But you see, a little history not taken from a non-academic internet encyclopedia; The Liberal party was etablished as a relatively social liberal and economic liberal (hence the name the LIBERAL party) as an amalgamation of various other conservative parties. Primarily to counter the threat...

    Brogden Quits parliament

How touchingly naive. I'm guessing you are involved with the right in that case. The Liberal party was set up as just that - a socially liberal, humanist party. Economically conservative party. Members like Petro Giorgiou are the few remaining examples of that. The very fact that you...

    HSTY 1044 - 10442?

Can't belive they are still doing this to first years. Happened to me as well.

    Getting me a second-hand car

The Civic. Much more involving car compared with a Corrolla. The 'rolla is desinged by lawn bowlers for lawn bowlers. At least the Civic is not attacked with the beige stick.

Students block people out of Education discussion

I was at uni that day. It was not violent. It was not a massive threat. It is just Nelson using a tactic to show that "students" are all bad and anti-democratic blah blah ad nauseum. Same with Abbott. The HECS system is needed. The massive pointless increases designed to stamp out...

    Brogden Quits parliament

An unfortunate victim of the relentess "taliban" and their push to destroy the very essence of the Liberal party. Shame on you Alex Hawke and your other cronies hell bent on destroying all that is good in the Western, secular democratic system.
