The trial, as far as BOS is concerned, is just another assessment. There's no special rules regarding assessments after trials - I don't have any myself, but I know a number of classes at my school are doing it.

Yep. Know quite a few schools that do.

I've heard of schools that dont give trials at all. As timmy said, they're just another assessment.

Schools can give assessments at any time so long as the final results reach the BOS by the set date.

No, it is forbidden to give any assessments from two weeks before the trials and onwards at my school :D

But i know that it differs from school to school.

Definitely. I remain set in my ways that doing so is a permissible option and can be selected from the batch of choices about Trial exams. I have a friend at my school in Year 12, and I know that my school DOES NOT engage in such a practice. So yes, indeed, it is up to the respective cultures of individual schooling institutions.

Yeah we generally have an English Speech the day after trials and then EE2 is handed in same week that's about it I think.
