I purchased a boredofstudies premium account on the basis that the following services were provided:

  • Premium careers content
  • Huge discounts for BOS merchandise and events.
  • Premium HSC content – tips for success
  • Optional email notifications of new resources
  • Access to additional private forums
  • Eligible for VIP premium competitions and prizes
  • etc
Just a quick question.

Where are these exclusive "bos premium membership benefits" that were advertised as if they already existed and were to be provided to me during the time of my premium membership as I am unable to locate them?

Thanks.

man, for free i'll give you a rundown of the benefits

Premium careers content: I have no idea about this.
Huge discounts for BOS merchandise and events : Sweet bos merchandise. So for $20 a year we get what, like $2 off a t shirt or something?
Premium HSC content – tips for success: This is basically where 99+ UAI students share their secrets for success. Not seeing the light of day for 2 years and having Asian parents generally helps.
Optional email notifications of new resources: Know how many emails I got when I was premium? One. To tell me will-anal was banned.
Access to additional private forums: o rly?
Eligible for VIP premium competitions and prizes: dont most of BOS's competitions revolve around us designing logos and shit for them to make more money.

In BoS's defence your thread asking for help wasn't closed and ignored like mine. So I guess this could be considered 'priority' support.

My guess is BOS is financially sound, but the head honchos have a lack of motivation towards it.

weren't those potential benefits rather than actual current benefits?

They're listed as current benefits. I wonder when they're going to 'actively add to the list of benefits'. In should be an easy task.

1: Think of a good idea
2: Claim it exists as a benefit
3: ...
4. Profit!
