beging 4 a chrysler pt cuiser*black limited* (ani1 know it, itz a mad one)

Pt Cruiser must be the ugliest car on earth. Or close to. My eyes start bleeding when I see one on the road.

As for the T5, it does look very nice. Simple and appealing. Funny enough it reminds me a bit of the new 5-series and AM Vanquish in the front, just alot more subtle. But something about it reminds me of them.

i haven't got a car yet, but i'm in the market. well as soon as i get my Ps...

in my sights i have a: 96-00 Nissan Pulsar, Manual, Sedan

i love that car cos of its engine. yes its only 86kw, but its also a 1.6L. and it does 7.6L/100km city driving (5.2 highway). That engine is sweet, DOHC, 16 valve, variable valve timing...

96-00 Pulsar is a good car. Goes OK for a 1.6, just do a sports exhaust and u can boost power to almost 100kW. Plus the 1.6's sound mad wit one. Only thing is,in stock form, dat u gotta get it up to over 4K to feel any of it's torque and power.

i don't have my P's yet, I'm not old enough.

But i DO have my own car. A 1997 Alfa Romeo 164 Super Cloverleaf, cream of the crop about 7 years ago.

black leather, 182kw 3.2L v6, all wheel drive, etc etc.

i love it. It's been done up (by me) since I bought it, with Brembo brakes on all 4 discs, new shocks, new tyres, the whole kaboodle.

it's so fun to drive.

Anyone seen the one series?? they're becoming a lot more common now that it's been out....no offence to anyone who likes or owns it...but it's kinda looks weird...plus...spending that much for that little performance feels like bmw is ripping people off...heard they're gonna release a 125 soon...which is better...

Five series still looks damn weird in my mind...although the look has kinda become more acceptable...just doesn't have the presence as the old one...

OMG. that car looks soo mad. the only car that beats it, in the presence category is the Rolls Royce Phantom. Now that is a car. bloody 22" wheels, and almost 7m long.

I don't have a turbo...

but then again, i'm driving a performance 6, not one of these little milk-cart 4 bangers.....

skyline r34 gtr (twin turbos): 210kW
my car... (naturally aspirated 3.2l V6): 184kW

not that much of a power gap between my car which i've spent $16k on ($8000 cost, and $8000 doing it up), and a skyline costing like $50k, if not more.

and turbos are really only useful around 3500-8000rpm, so you get no real low-end acceleration, since it's relying on just the engine and not the turbo.

i've dragged off an r33 from streetlights........... ripped the shit out of it... in an easy 8 seconds it was a full 3 carlengths behind.

pffh.

and as for these 80kW celicas and the like, as if you would ever drive a car with anything less than like 150kW. that's just degrading.

and imagine what i'd get if i DID stick on twin turbos......

at high boost, i'd be expecting a good 350kw... they've done that easy with a 182kW 4.0L ford v6............

350kW alfa romeo 164 super cloverleaf :D:D:D:D:D

yeaaaah.

Last time I recall the Afla only had a 3.0L V6 donk, care to explain why it has bumped up by 200cc?

my alfa (the 164 super) originally had a 2.0 turbo, i think, but the guy who had it before me replaced the engine in 2003 due to some horrible piston damage. the engine in there now is the engine from the alfa 156 GTA (now discontinued) and the 147 GTA.

hope that helps,
C
