Well, today i learnt how subjective english really is.....

Paper 1
Sect 1 - 13/15
Sect 2 - 10/15 <--- WTF I got 15/15 for half yearly, had the same creative marked by 3 teachers all giving it 15 and i get 10, my teacher couldnt understand wtf the marker was on.
Sect 3 - 15/15

Paper 2
Module A - 18/20
Module B - 18/20
Module C - 19/20

Lol. My friend got his creative marked by our teacher and she gave him 12/15. He then got it marked by the coordinator and she gave him 15/15. He used the same one word for word in the trials and our teacher marked it and gave him 15/15.

BTW, you got 3 different marks for paper 1, section 1?

Wow, it's so bullshit how there can be such a gap in marks in english. My teacher told me they are allowed a 6 mark gap, do they realise the difference between a fucking 12 and 18 WTF

OMG the unseen text I got completely fucked on, I didn't have anytime to do the last question and I was getting full marks the whole way through like 2's and 3s then BAM got 8/15 FML.

I sort of blundered for the belonging essay, since I rarely supported my argument with quotes. Not to mention that for Hamlet I included a character which was on the list to talk about, but still did best in that in terms of the modules. I'm satisfied with the belonging paper, but I need to improve my module papers.

The comments I got back were "you know so much about the text but you need to relate to the question more."
I was devastated. I only came =6th.

Guys, just wanna know, for the creative writting... for those who chose the family image, how did you guys relate your story to that image?

I used the family image and wrote about how a boy felt like his mother and his family was his world and how he felt that they belonged to a place within him and how he felt a sense of place with his mother.
Also incorporated the sky, the airport arrivals/departure thing and my teacher picked out aspects of journeys that the pictures could've represented and I didn't pick up on that but I had it in there.
