Don't worry about the law camp, but do get a "buddy" from more senior years, get a book from the library about how to answer law exam questions; and get those books published by Pearson and LexisNexis, those which are like summary books. Because law textbooks in general are just too big, those smaller books help with getting the points straightforwardly. Books should be available from the on campus bookstores.
If possible, start to read some textbooks before the semester even starts. Just because you are at UWS doesn't mean you can get high grades easily, it's a demanding degree.
Law school is not high school, lots of reading, and you should also do some practice before your exams. Find some sample problems to answer during the semester, forward them to whoever assists first year law students to adjust to law school, for my year, it was Michele Sanson.
You also need to make your own summaries, although most black letter law exams are open book, textbooks will be of minimal use. Make your summaries, for how to make it, find it in this book:
Mastering the law school exam :a practical blueprint for preparing and taking law school exams /Suzanne Darrow-Kleinhaus.
They have a copy in each of Campbelltown and Parramatta campuses. Call number is: 345.072 5
