I see it as something gross like picking your nose.
I see homophobia as something gross, like picking your nose.

NB. I've got no clue as to whether you are homophobic or not. I can't remember reading any really negative posts by you lately.

Nah, this isn't homophobia. It's just an aversion to witnessing gay sex.
I don't like watching 80 year-olds go at it, but that doesn't mean I hate all old people.

Pornography destroys families.

It has encouraged a whole generation of people with unhealthy and unrealisitic understandings of sex and a culture which thrives on degrading women in society.
Haha the christian is talking about degrading women.

LOL. God = a stream of electrons? xD
I LOL'd

ITT: Name_Taken is secretly gay.
haha i bet you're right

Yes, but you also believe in other nonsense such as the idea that homosexuality is scientifically linked to mental illness, pedophilia and drug abuse. There is the same amount of evidence to substantiate the Bible as your other nonsense: none.
It's funny that you hear about alot of CATHOLIC PRIESTS being paedophiles that dont go for little girls but for little BOYS!

And also I would much rather believe in something like Buddhism or even some kind of ancient mythology than christianity the only religion i would rather chrsitianity to is scientology

Agree with your post, although why would you want to believe in Buddhism? It's the same 'don't question this' crap that every religion is based upon. I think that many people give Buddhism a free ride because they don't believe that it has caused any problems. Well, Japan in World War II carried out some pretty atrocious crimes. Also, they seem to love the totalitarianism - what with the Dalai Lama and what not...

Just a little point on this 'morals come from religion' idea which some people in this thread have.

I have friends, some raised Christian, some raised as Athiests. This is a generalisation, however, in the large scheme of youths today it is remotely true and evident.

An example:
A friend of mine rasied as a christian, has the morals, of a 3000 year old book, because it's written in a book that is 3000 years old. If Lord of the Rings had a cult around it and by coincidence it grew, in 3000 years there might be a cult that believes Frodo an equivilent of what Christians believe Jesus to be.

My Christian Moral friend, has been brought up to hate things, to frown upon certain things in society and until he realized his religion was a SHAM, this was reflected in his personality. Morals that class some actions above other actions based on a giant work of Hypocrisy shouldn't be followed today.

My friend raised as an Athiest, treats everyone equally (funnily enough that is taught in the bible, however I don't really think the Christians care about the 10 commandments, the rules mean't to hold precedent over all other rules, and prefer to look through little passages to find hate.) doesn't discriminate and most people would consider his ideas of morals, based on an athiest view, more beneficial to society.

So your point that, because gays don't reproduce, they are unbeneficial to society just shows ignorance. You probably don't actually know much about Gay people, you probably haven't witnessed the way the interact, because they are some of the nicest people you will meet, alot nicer than fucking christians, who are not only far from beneficial to society, but throughout history have prevented it's progression and restricted it.

Anyway, in the words of your lovely piece of fiction, "Love thy neighbour", don't go looking for little passages to hate them and seriously, the fucking RESPONSES!
dodge question, smart ass remark, something like "I don't hate gays" then saying "They aren't equal and it's morally correct to barr it from society", YOUR LOGIC IS FLAWED.

Well I don't see any crimes, inequalities or segregation being carried out in the name of Buddhism. I really don't see how you could possibly have a problem with it to be honest - I see it as more of a way of life rather than a religion

1) Buddhism is a way of life teaching peace.

2) Dalai Lama and totalitarianism is unrelated. The Dalai Lama, says that in Buddhism, all sex besides the normal sex between a man and a woman is unnacceptable, however he said that society should be accepting of homosexuals and the like, he's done numerous things in favour of equality and makes the point that, sure something might not be acceptable in a religion, but in society it's fine.
